Unspoken Agreement by Chelsea Lena Girard

My opinion

I received the ebook Unspoken Agreement for an honest review, so here you go:

Unspoken Agreement is a collection of poetry, which deals with depression, mental health issues, thoughts about suicide and attempts. However, it also is about the light at the end of the tunnel.

Although I never dealt with real depression, mental health or whatsoever, I was able to comprehend what Chelsea wrote, since I, and probably a lot of other people, experienced a time in my life, which wasn't all fun and games.

I am impressed by Chelsea's story and I am glad that she decided to write this book, because it's an important topic and people should face it. But not only that, I think it could help those, who are in the same situation.

It was beautifully written, heartwarming- and breaking. I was able to time-travel with her, went with her on the journey to her past, since I could feel the way she felt. It made me sad, when she was, I had the urge to help her when she needed it. And I could pause with her, breath.

I'd highly recommend it and I commend it to everyone who thinks that no-one could understand oneself, because there is someone. There is a light in the dark and maybe you can find it in this book.
